Are so funny together. When they are together in a room no other entertainment is needed.

They are constantly on the move and getting that perfect picture together of the two of them didn't turn out nearly like i thought it would.

But actually must better. How precious! Desmond had us in stitches by running in and out of all the shots while William stood beside his prop

the entire time and smiled and smiled.  Sometimes it's  fun to do a photo shoot just for fun. I loved it!

William was wearing his little work boots and Desmond his very colorful shirt.

With big smiles, giggles, and big blue eyes- you cannot go wrong =)

And this was our perfect shot.

 

Another Shoot from last summer that makes my heart ache for warm sunshine.

This little guy was turning one.

His mom had some really cute ideas and i loved his outfits.

Here's to the happiest kid ever =)

His mommy also planned a cake smash!

The new one is up and running and we are always adding and planning new looks to make the next

photo shoot unique and different than the one before.  It's fun to see the change in style and design

in other photographers work. It can be hard to look at my own work that way but one thing that never changes

and that is the beauty of the summer sun. I am so ready to move everything to the great outdoors again =)

"Celebrate" banner and the balloons from this little girl's momma-

and blocks (although not intended to be a part of the shoot) are mine =)

If a baby needs a lollipop or candy or McDonald's as a bribe-

generally speaking, to make a photo shoot work, a parent (or me) will do most anything.

This little girl just wanted the blocks.

So that's what she got. I like the emotion it brought out in her little one year old hands and face.

Notice how the color of the balloon matches the burlap stripe. Some things just come together =)

A little honeybunch, sugarplum, pumpy-umpy-umpkinfor your post Valentine Day celebrations. The first boy to a family of girls. A baby loved not just by his siblings and his parents but by generations of love and babies.  Great grandparents, grandparents, cousins, and aunts and uncles-the heritage of love passed on to him that is so automatic to some and so foreign to others. I hope your love this Valentine's Day was the automatic kind.

Daryl & Thelma are one of those couples that feed energy into the world.

If you meet them or have ever met them you will know what i am talking about.

She has a never ending list of projects that she not only dreams about but actually completes them to perfection.

He is a never ending source of technical information that he gladly shares: as i have said before-

I have learned so much from this couple.

I love watching their children grow and mature and stopping in at their house to borrow something

is on my list of favorite things to do. =)

This couple is generous and without them i would literally be no where!

I love this photo of them- you can tell how goofy Daryl is and how funny Thelma thinks he is.

Thelma made her dress and her daughters dress- yes, she did.

Then for her second outfit she put a skirt over her dress, allowing the same beautiful lace

top to show through, adding some color and flare. genius.

Changing up shoes, belts, or tights can add a lot of variety and pizazz!

  O hey!- and Steve came with me to help with the kids he is reaaaaaally good at it!

These photos are making my heart hurt for summer.

I sure could use some warm and green again - but it will be here before you know it.

I have to keep telling myself that. =)

Is the day they are getting married.

These two met in a far away country- i can't wait to share their story because i love when couples meet when they are both far from home.

They fall in love- come home- think about the other person- maybe hang out as friends a few times and then wam! they are a couple =)

Love can be really sneaky sometimes!

These two were up for anything. Cold.Freezing.Snowing. It was so beautiful!

We worked fast and took warm up breaks and laughed a lot!

Have you heard Karmen's laugh? It is completely contagious! She is so darling and will make an adorable bride.

Mike has got that handsome, manly, i-can-look-relaxed-in-subzero-temps-no-problem, going on.

Together they are fun, easy, and their love is contagious.

All props by Karmen. She made the one blanket out of their old t-shirts (ilovethatidea!!!)

The other blanket she knitted (or crocheted). Talented for sure. What great details!

Love the white jacket, ring, red nails, red accents combination =)

Ah! They are just so cute!

With just a hint of green to match the blanket!!

And then it really started snowing.  LOVE how it shows up with the train - and the graffiti.

Karmen and Mike: seriously, how does one couple get to be so cute together? I loved our freezing cold snowing photo shoot.

I loved your colors and your props and i'm so excited for your wedding this April- hopefully, it's not snowing =)

Thanks for being brave and good sports about the snow- it really was beautiful.

My Wedding Album came a few weeks ago!

Life is so full of rapid changes right now it is hard to keep up.

Am i signing my name as Burkholder or Miller?

Did i get that package mailed to my old addess or new?

Ah, well. One day it will all be simple and easy to remember.

For now i'm staying on my toes- just in case =)

I'm showing you these photos to give you an example of the style of our albums.

It is the only style we have offered so far but NOW we have a wedding album to show you for example!

When you come in for your 30 day sit down to go over your wedding schedule...

This is what you will see.

I love the arrangement of photos-

the simple style-

the thickness of the pages-

and the variety of covers, sizes, and spreads to choose from.

I chose orange from the leather collection to stick with my wedding them.

She creates each album for us- and is really good at it! =)

I think that is awesome.

I hope your enjoying the snow. It sure has been a snowy winter. I'm not tired of it but that is only because i get to sit inside of my cozy house

and cook meals and do laundry and plan snowy photo shoots. I am a very lucky girl =)
