Konrad & Bethany : Wedding
Sunday, September 29, 2013
This day. The day for these two to become one. The day for Konrad and Bethany to promise themselves to each other. Forever. Was a beautiful kind of day. Full of promise and smiles with a clear, bright sky and the exact amount of sunshine we were looking for. This day was special and all day i kept picturing these two growing old together and still having fun! Him laughing at her quirks and She laughing at his. =) All the getting ready started at Bethany's best friend and maid of honor, Darlene's house. Here we go!!
Konrad and Bethany did not see each other before the wedding so we very carefully took the entire bridal party to F&M College and kept them hid from one another.
And while i was shooting up the girls- Silla and Valerie were taking photos of the guys!!
The beautiful Bride- Here she is!
The groom with brother Kervin.
And then we headed back to the church to get these two married!
Love the haircuts on these kids! CEeeeeUUtteee.
Mr. & Mrs. Konrad Beicher!! I love the photo of the newly married couple coming back down the isle. I don't know- It's kind of like all the work and time invested has finally paid off. They are done waiting- nerves have calmed down- and now they can just enjoy the rest of their day! Can anyone connect with that feeling? =)
And then it was back to F&M to finish up those pictures.
This little baby was just this squish able. We took so many photos of her. Secretly, i think we all wanted to keep her. She did so good!
Finally Finally Finally we had this bride and groom all to ourselves!
And here is their story: from Bethany- (which i think is so dear)
"The first time I really remember of meeting Konrad, Is in 2009 at Lancaster Bible School. Somebody introduced him to me, and that was it. I never thought much of it. Plus, he was dating at the time. Since he lived an hour and a half away, I didn't see him really until he started coming down to my area to hang out with my some of my friends. I eventually got to know him pretty well. He soon wasn't dating anymore. I still thought of him as a only a friend and didn't want anything more than that. We became really good friends. We got along so well. Everybody would tease us, but I made it known that it was only a brother/sister kind of relationship. In the meantime, he wanted to pursue a dating relationship, but I still wasn't interested in the least bit. People would always tried to convince me that I actually did like him, but i was denying it. So that started making me think.....and pray. I just didn't feel ready. Finally a couple months later, I decided to go for it. So 8/10/12 we went on our first date. We had a great dating relationship, we got to know each other's dreams, goals, and values. We both had a lot of the same dreams. We learned a lot about each other. We both felt as if we were to date anybody else, they wouldn't be as perfect for us like we were for each other. So 5/17/13 he proposed, and I said "Yes!". We got married 9/29/13. It was a beautiful day, and perfect in our eyes. Our marriage has just begun, and we are extremely excited to see where God is going to take us."
This couple is every bit as cute and fun as they look! So much laughter and down to earth banter all in the midst of getting this day done. They had a way of making the day a blast for everyone!
Konrad & Bethany, First of all- thank you for your patience. I know you have waited long and hard to see these photos up here. Your day was beautiful and complete. No one couple has the same wedding day feel on their special day but something about your wedding made such a connection with me- was it all the laughing and mischief? or the times we had to wait for Kon to get off the phone? or losing track of the best man? or the food in the teeth? maybe it was just the way i was feeling that day BUT i do know that the two of you have something really special. I did not know you before you contacted me to take your photos but now i feel like i'm a part of the family, too. If everyone that meets you carries this witness what a great testimony to the world that will be. God has big plans! Love to both of you.
Silla and Valerie: I couldn't have been more grateful for my second shooters as i was on this day. With so much grace that no one would ever be able to tell- the two of you jumped in and did your job with no hesitation whatsoever. To have girls by my side on a day that is so important is irreplaceable. I honestly could not have done it without you. And, as always, it just makes the day more fun!
Was this wedding not beautiful?
Yes.
I have one more wedding to show you from this year- (except for my own which may or may not air this year yet) -
check back soon.
