Levi & Katelyn : Wedding
August 4, 2013
A day that started out clear and bright. The sun was sunshiny and the air was crisp.
The hustle and bustle at the beginning of the day created a feeling of anticipation and much excitement.
I love Katelyn and Levi's Story. (which will be posted along the way) This couple is genuine and beautiful.
They have such a desire to follow God's will for their lives and an eagerness to get started!
The ceremony and reception was held at The Olde Gault Plantation- with the getting ready at
Katelyn's parent's home. Here is their wedding day story- A super fine celebration!
Hair Stylist Kayci doing the big girls and Kristen on the baby girls. The sisters did each other's makeup.
Check out the beautiful robes for all the ladies and there was coffee! Who doesn't need that extra punch on their big day?!
And then it was time to go meet Levi for the First Look!
At The Olde Gault Plantation there is a beautiful spring house that is super small but has the best lighting-
This is where they chose to see each other for the first time on their wedding day.
Here is their story:
"We met about 4 years ago! And we started hanging out. He was my cousin's best friend! So my cousin was the middle man. We both knew how we felt but we both knew i was very young. So we went our separate ways for 'bout a year. I started getting more involved in my youth group. And he kept hanging out with his same old friends (which he STILL hangs out with
and then one spring we randomly started to hang out. We went to The Buck with a bunch of our other friends and feelings started all over! Again, i was only 17 and my folks made it very clear that none of their daughters were to date before we were 18 (house rule) so we tried waiting as long as we could (which ended up to be only 2 months). So he went and asked my dad, which he said, 'No' because he wanted to get to know Levi better. So Levi started coming over to family nights, and came over other random evenings. Finally, 3 months later, my dad gave in and gave us his blessing! We were so excited and nervous at the same time! Dating was not what we expected. It was hard work. We soon found out that we were NOT alike in some of our opinions and it seemed like we disagreed on everything!
But at the same time we both learned so much! The Lord was shaping us, not only as a couple but also individually to become the spouse the other needs! The 2 years of our dating life was the funnest and yet the hardest years so far! I have so much love and joy being with this man. It's unreal! And we both can not wait to see how the Lord is going to use our marriage to impact others! Our love story might be ordinary but it's "OUR" love story and no one else's!!
-Katelyn.Katelyn's dress was beautiful- she made a stunning bride.
Katelyn created puzzles of their engagement photos for the guests to sign as the guest registrary.
Aren't they just an adorable couple??
Don't miss the flower girl being shy by her daddy or hiding behind her flowers. She was the cutest thing!
And then it was time for the ceremony to get started!!
Here comes the Bride!
Mr. & Mrs!!!
The Plantation is a gorgeous setting. The sunset was perfect. Falling over the reception creating a sparkle of warmth in the chilly evening air.
There were so many nooks and crannies with coffee and dessert and the main course waiting to be enjoyed.
Old trees were everywhere - With cornfields and big blue sky overhead. What a beautiful day.
Katelyn & Levi created a private first dance on the front porch- with a friend playing some music from her ipod - they danced for the first time as Mr. & Mrs.
The End- Katelyn & Levi: May your journey be as fun and exciting and real to life as the two of you are.
Thank you for having us to capture your wedding. It was an honor to witness your love.
It was Perfect.
Valerie and Silla : two of my knightesses in shining armor- the proof is in the pudding and the two of you
have proved to be very worth your while- your commitment, loyalty, and talent can never be repaid completely.
I could not have done this day without the two of you! Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
And to Angie- You work very hard to meet up with the deadlines.
For letting me be the boss of you
All my people are invaluable to me. I can't thank them enough."i love love." - Valerie
